I purchased my 2025 Kia Carnival last September, and it now has only 1,330 miles. The battery has died three times. The first time, I was told there was a recall that might be related to the issue. That recall was eventually completed, after a long wait for the part. However, the same issue has occurred again. I brought the vehicle to Evans Kia. They were unable to identify the root cause and suggested that the problem might be due to me plugging in electrical equipment. This is simply not true. The equipment I placed in the vehicle is for camping and requires a 110V outlet. None of it was plugged into the car. I asked the team to investigate thoroughly and find the real cause. That was last Saturday, and it has now been three days with no follow-up. I’m deeply concerned and frustrated. I purchased this car expecting it to be reliable, especially since I planned to use it for long road trips, sometimes traveling alone. After three battery failures and no clear explanation, I no longer feel confident doing that. I sincerely hope Kia will take this matter seriously and provide a clear and lasting solution. I need to trust that my new vehicle is safe, dependable, and fit for the purpose I bought it for. Thank you for your attention. I hope to hear back soon. I will gladly update my rating if this issue is properly resolved.
